WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I VISIT?
At Riverpark, we want you to feel comfortable so that you can experience the music, messages, and atmosphere that make RiverPark uniquely "us"! We know that when you decide to visit us - or any church - you'll have lots of questions. How do I get there... What should I wear... What's available for my kids... What should I expect in church? We'd like to answer some of those questions for you here. Then we'll invite you to this Sunday's service. And we'll even have a free gift waiting for you as you leave our service.
How do I get there?
We're located on 210 Bank Street, right in the heart of Dowtown Waukesha. We're in the parking lot next to Waukesha State Bank. Click here for a MAP to RiverPark.
What should I wear?
At RiverPark, we want you to wear what's comfortable. Whether you prefer jeans or a suit or dress - or anything in between - you'll fit in here. We're more concerned that you'll meet God than with what you wear.
What's available for my kids?
Your kids are very important to us here at RiverPark. And we have a full program that we hope will meet both you and your kids' needs AND that your kids will love. We have a nursery available at 10:30 am for infants through age 2 where your baby will be tenderly cared for! Kids age 3 through grade 5 will experience their own Kid's Church worship at 10:30, which will include a fun, action-filled video, worship, games and more! Then they'll be escorted to their kid-oriented class geared just for their age group while you are enjoying the message in the sanctuary.
The WAVE Youth Group! For teens in 6th-8th grade. We meet from 2:00-5:00 pm on the first Saturday of the month and We would LOVE to have all 6th - 8th graders join us for worship, compelling DVD’s, discussion, drama, games, and great fellowship afterwards!
The RUSH Youth Group! Got teens 7th to 12th grade? We've got a group just for them which meets from 9:30-10:25 am on Sunday mornings right before the main service begins at 10:30. Parents, you can attend one of our adult classes while your teen is getting to know other teens in this friendly and inspiring group. We've planned this time with teens in mind - as well as providing lots of special events and outings that they will love. This ministry is FUN, fast-paced and will answer the REAL questions teens are asking now. Check out the Youth Ministry page for more information.
What should I expect in church?
When you first walk in, you'll be greeted by someone who hopes that you will feel very welcome and comfortable at RiverPark! Beyond that, expect to enjoy great music, hear a helpful and inspiring message, and meet friendly people. We'll even give you a free gift as you leave - AND invite you to a free, informal get-aquainted lunch at a future day that will fill you in on how we got started and what we are all about.
